Hi I’m Darri Yarran, and I’m a Physical Education teacher at Valley State college. I’m passionate about helping students build not only their physical skills, but also their confidence, teamwork, and resilience through sport and movement. My goal is to make PE engaging, inclusive, and something every student feels they can succeed in.
Before becoming a teacher, I was heavily involved in competitive sport, which gave me a strong appreciation for discipline, preparation, and teamwork. I bring that experience into my teaching, encouraging students to challenge themselves, support one another, and enjoy being active in a positive and respectful environment.
