Hello I’m Marc Pace, a Mathematics teacher at Valley State College. I’ve always enjoyed the way maths helps us make sense of the world through patterns, logic, and problem-solving. In my classroom, I focus on building confidence step by step, making sure students understand the “why” behind the methods, not just the answers. I aim to create a supportive environment where mistakes are seen as part of learning and progress is something to be proud of.
Before teaching, I studied applied mathematics and developed a strong interest in how maths connects to real-life situations, from budgeting and design to technology and data analysis. I enjoy helping students see that maths isn’t just a subject in school, but a useful tool they can carry into their everyday lives and future careers.
